Chris Meyer - Board Advisor

Chris was the Owner and CEO of Mintek Resources, Inc., a distribution company that sells calcium-based materials into the construction, environmental, manufacturing, oil & gas, and agricultural industries throughout the Eastern half of the United States. Since acquiring the company in 2006, he grew revenue from $6 million to over $70 million. He sold the business in 2018 to Carmeuse Lime & Stone, headquartered in Belgium and the 2nd largest lime producer in the world. Chris exited the business at the end of 2021 after successfully integrating the companies and developing Mintek’s new Leadership Team. 

Prior to owning Mintek, Chris worked several years at Ernst &Young, LLP focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions and annual audits on public and private entities in the manufacturing, distribution, retail, and construction industries. Outside of Chris’s business activities, Chris has been an active private investor since 2010 in a variety of segments ranging from angel investing, private equity, real estate, private credit, and public investments. 

In addition, Chris has served on Aileron’s Client Advisory Council, which concentrated on rolling out new training programs to help small businesses grow quicker and smarter through implementing professional management strategies. He is also an active member in the Cincinnati chapter of YPO, Vice Chair of the Boys and Girls Club of Dayton Board, and is an Investment Committee Member of the Brixey Meyer Capital Fund II, II and IV. 

In his free time, Chris focuses on family, three kids who are very active on various sports teams, golf, cycling and various outdoor activities.
