Steve Wedge - Board Advisor

 Steve is a CPA and MBA who spent 20 years building his finance leadership career at Thyssenkrupp Elevator (TKE), rising from Regional Controller to Chief Financial Officer of a multi-billion-dollar business unit. He joined TKE Americas in 2002 as Regional Controller for the Southeast Region, where he partnered directly with field operations and drove revenue growth from $125M to $200M while improving operating working capital from +11% to -2%. He was promoted to VP Finance for US Field Operations in 2009.

In 2013, Steve was named CFO of TKE Americas, a $3.7B business unit of a €40B publicly traded conglomerate spanning 16 countries and 17,500 employees. Over six years, sales grew from $2.8B to $3.7B and EBITDA expanded from 15.5% to 18.1%.  Steve led two major organizational restructurings that delivered $20M in value creation. When the business was carved out and taken private by Advent and Cinven in 2020, Steven stayed on as CFO of the newly formed TK Elevator North America, leading finance and shared services organization through the standalone carve-out, spearheading ten acquisitions, and championing a $200M+ investment to consolidate operations into a new Atlanta headquarters. He was also selected to serve as Interim CEO during a leadership transition, overseeing all functions of the business.

Since leaving TKE, Steve has brought that same operating discipline to two private equity-backed companies. As CFO of EIS Holdings, a Sun Capital portfolio company in environmental and remediation services, he built value creation tracking tools and overhauled FP&A, ERP reporting, and working capital processes. He then assumed the CFO role of Crane 1 Services, a $200M+ L2 Capital portfolio company in overhead crane manufacturing, installation, and service, where he led Finance, IT, and Supply Chain.  He completed two acquisitions that grew the business 35% and executed a back-office centralization initiative.

Steve holds an MBA in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, both from the University of Kentucky, and is a Certified Public Accountant.  In his downtime, living in the Tampa Bay area, Steve enjoys golf, motorcycling, fishing, and most things outdoors.
